Educational Bookstore is a book shop and caf’e , located in East Jerusalem. The store was rated 1st on Lonely Planet guide book and became a kind of institution for English book lovers who wanted a refuge from the chainstore dominated local book market. Our main design challenge was how to squeeze a lot of functions in the relatively narrow 3 levels 1800 square feet area.The space also includes gathering hall for book launches and cultural gatherings.
